Construction Solutions of Colorado was established in 2011, but our story begins long before that. In the mid-1980s, Chris Nordyke, founder of Construction Solutions of Colorado, began working with heavy equipment and learning the construction industry. Over the next 30 years, Chris built not only his career but also his family. Alongside his wife, Shelly, he raised their sons while teaching them the trade and passing on the knowledge, values, and craftsmanship that would become the foundation of the family business.

In 2011, Construction Solutions of Colorado was officially established as a family-owned and operated business. Chris worked full-time building custom homes, completing concrete projects, and erecting Sentinel steel buildings, while his sons worked alongside him on weekends, during summers, and whenever school and sports schedules allowed. After graduating from high school in 2013, Corey chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a part of the family business. Casey joined full-time the following year. Over the next decade, Chris, Corey, and Casey worked side by side building custom homes and Sentinel steel buildings while continuing to expand their expertise in concrete, pouring patios, garages, foundations, and more. In 2025, Chris unexpectedly passed away, leaving the company in the hands of his sons. Since then, Corey and Casey have worked tirelessly to honor their father’s legacy by continuing the business he built and growing it into what it is today.

Every project we take on-whether it’s a custom home, a steel building, a concrete patio, or a bedroom addition-receives the same level of care and attention, regardless of size. We treat every project as if it were our own, because to us, every customer becomes part of the Construction Solutions family.
